About The Role


We are looking for a world-class leader to lead and scale our Professional Services efforts! Our Professional Services team is responsible for value-focused services to meet our customers' most critical needs outside of the product itself, including data migration, 3rd party integrations, business process optimization, training and support. The ideal candidate is someone who has built and led a professional services team at a B2B SaaS company already and can implement a tried and tested playbook here at Groove.


As the leader of this new department reporting to the VP of Customer Success, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of consultants, engineers and project managers. In addition, you will define and iterate on our professional services strategy moving forward. Your team will tailor our offerings to ensure our customers are achieving their desired outcomes through our partnership, driving deeper customer engagement, and generating growth opportunities. This is a high-visibility opportunity to partner with multiple departments at Groove and scale something business-critical to the future of our company.


Responsibilities


-Working under the VP of Customer Success, you will lead the design and execution of our global Professional Services strategy.

-Lead your team in the design and build of scalable value add services that deliver business impact for our customers.

-Lead the creation of internal and customer-facing processes to support delivery of all services, including resource allocation, project management expectations, decision making norms, etc.

-Ensuring your team coordinates effectively with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to identify target clients for our services.

-Internally promote and champion Professional Services and its value throughout Groove and create a strategic feedback loop for Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Learning.

-Lead Sales and Customer Success enablement efforts for Professional Services with our Enablement team to educate, promote, and drive revenue with our innovative offerings.

-Develop and optimize pricing strategies across all solutions.

-Leading the team through complex projects, diving in with customers when necessary.


Qualifications


-Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a strong academic track record, MBA preferred

-7+ years working with customers in a project management, program management, or professional services capacity.

-3+ years direct management experience running a Professional Services team for a B2B SaaS company.

-Track record of successfully building and scaling Professional Services strategies.

-History of building diverse, engaged, high-performing teams

-You have deep experience developing Professional Services strategy and leading Professional Services teams at global, high-growth B2B SaaS companies.

-You know how to design and build the operational infrastructure required to support a Professional Services organization including pricing, tools optimization, contracting and project tracking.

-You know how to architect a global Professional Services team with a people-first focus and how to craft offerings, manage consultant bandwidth, design career paths, and build comp plans to drive an efficient, thriving, high performing team.

-You are an inspiring, high-energy leader who lives for working with people – both your team and customers.

-You have a deep understanding of what Customer Success and Professional Services excellence looks like, both quantitatively and qualitatively.

-A skilled communicator and collaborator, you are capable of building meaningful internal and external relationships and representing the interests of the Customer Success and Professional Services teams effectively.

-You have a growth mindset and are a learner by nature, you push yourself and your teams to improve and develop. You make learning a priority for your people.
