We are currently seeking a Director Business Development to join our Konami Team!

The Director Business Development is responsible for the strategic positioning of Konami to be the successful CMS provider within the assigned market. The role requires sales hunting, account penetration, opportunity development, closing of sales, and maintenance of relationships with customers at key levels within their respective organization to secure new sales transactions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identify new CMS system sales opportunities.
  • Develop relationships and penetrate casino management teams, to include identify customer needs and pain points, introducing and positioning KGI systems and products, competitive positioning, and working to develop alies in favor of Konami products.
  • Develop appropriate business case scenarios to secure approval of company initiatives (i.e., organizational, product development, etc.) to strategically align KGI to secure the transaction.
  • Build relationships with key users and executives and provides consulting support to existing systems customers, to include acting as an escalation point for customers as needed.
  • Leverages Konami senior and executive management team members to enhance the relationship as part of the overall account strategy to secure the transaction.
  • Assists the systems sales department with the identification, and management thereof, of strategic sales opportunities in established or potential new markets.
  • Works with Marketing to maintain accurate, up to date knowledge of emerging markets, products, operators, competitors, and legislation.
  • Delivers sales presentations to high level, key individuals.
  • Assess existing and potential markets and develop strategies for establishing partnerships with other companies for specific products, strategic alliances or joint venture opportunities.
  • Ensures all business activities comply with all relevant regulatory, legal and ethical standards.
  • Works closely with the compliance department to gain a thorough understanding of governmental regulatory activities and actions to insure business development activities are in alignment with our regulated industry environment.
  • Exerts a strong positive influence on peers and the company culture to pursue opportunities in a confident and disciplined manner.
  • Efficiently coordinates and leverages the efforts of Konami personnel to demonstrate the company can meet the customer needs in a manner that exhibits a keen sense of urgency in responding to and delivering on their requirements.
  • Handles multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Moderate travel necessary. 30% to 60%, or as business requires.



What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or other related field; Master's degree desired.
  • 10 years of sales management experience in the gaming industry or related technology industry.
  • Business development and strategic planning experience required.
  • Demonstrated clear understanding of statistics and probability.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain Gaming licensure(s).
