The Director of Onboarding & Account Management for Business Checking will be responsible for driving the roadmap and execution of our digital banking product, in partnership with product development, design, and functional & non-functional partners. In particular, this Director will play a critical role in driving the growth of our portfolio by leading a team focused on optimizing the new customer onboarding process, from application to early engagement. In addition, the role will focus on the Account Management aspects of the Business Checking Account, including balances, transactions, user access roles and other usage related activities of the Business Checking Account.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a high performing team to define, communicate, and execute the strategy and roadmap for new customer onboarding and account management, including features, controls and customer journey for small and medium sized businesses
  • Partner with Product Development & Design team to drive the evolution of the onboarding & banking capabilities to address small and mid-sized business needs
  • Define research needs and metrics to track the success of new feature launches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the organization, including Product Development, Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Compliance to deliver on new product development activities and feature launches
  • Manage project risks and resourcing needs; resolve impediments
  • Responsible for ongoing management of the onboarding funnel, including driving, monitoring, and reporting out on key performance metrics
  • Partner with technology and external partners on driving banking platform strategy and roadmap, including identifying features needed, providing requirements, prioritization justification and supporting execution


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience preferred in areas of Product Management and Strategy, with expertise in B2B, small business cashflow solutions and/or checking/deposit accounts
  • Strong thought leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading and managing direct and indirect teams
  • Ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving complex business issues
  • Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional, large/complex initiatives
  • Customer-focused, with a desire to understand and relate to small business owner needs
  • Comfort in a fast-paced and high growth environment
  • Keen attention to detail with solid quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated capacity to solve problems and enhance performance output
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and influencing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively to audiences across leadership levels, including technology partners
  • Bachelor's degree required
