Key Accountabilities 

  • Develop and execute a strategy for customer revenue growth and retention across a set of existing project44 customers, reporting to SVP WW Account Management
  • Lead team of account managers to close every renewal and expand every account relationship, driving attainment of Gross Revenue Retention and Net Revenue Retention goals
  • Serve as an Account Management team and customer advocate working closely with project44 Professional Services, Customer Success, Customer Support, Product Management, and Engineering team members to ensure customer satisfaction and value attainment
  • Navigate cross-functional account groups and buying centers with your team to influence strategic decision makers and achieve desired business outcomes
  • Cultivate and manage senior business relationships and establish project44 as a trusted advisor
  • Manage complex sales processes and follow-through on commitments, and communicate relevant information to internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Leverage Salesforce and Force Management to develop accurate expansion, renewal and professional services forecasts on a weekly basis
  • Deliver against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as aligned to V2MOM and Revenue Charter
  • Partner with the Marketing and Revenue Operations to ensure continuous pipeline development and sales process execution alignment
  • Continuously build, lead, and coach a team of Account Managers with the goal of improving individual skill sets, job satisfaction and employee retention
  • Establish a culture that encourages collaboration and motivates members to achieve their maximum potential
  • Build strong operational rigor around goal setting, measurement, and accountability

Requirements & Preferred Skills 

  • PROACTIVE, DISCIPLINED and PERSISTENT personal style with an innate sense of urgency
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity with an inquisitive nature – you are a critical thinker who is always looking for a way to make things work better
  • Executive presence with strong intellect and an educated approach to delivering a BOD-level point of view regarding real-time transportation visibility solutions and business impact
  • Proven ability to present and sell complex SaaS/PaaS solutions in a Voice of the Customer context explicitly linked to business impact and value
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and engage across the customer’s organization, from project-level business and technical team members to SVP/C-level executives
  • Proven ability to retain and capture new expansion business via successful whitespace mapping and sales journey execution leadership
  • Process-oriented approach to identifying, qualifying, negotiating and closing enterprise-level software subscription agreements in complex, multi-constituent enterprise environments
  • Dedication to the art and science of selling with defined sales methodology experience (Force Management/MEDDICC sales qualification methodology or similar)
  • 8+ years of quota-beating subscription software sales/leadership experience – transportation management and logistics platform knowledge required
  • Willingness and desire to travel as necessary in support of individual sales activities and team success
  • Proficiency with various sales tools such as Salesforce, Tableau and Microsoft Office
