Dealer Account Specialist, Retention

This role will focus on working with retaining existing CarGurus dealer clients in Canada. The primary challenge of Dealer Account Specialist, Retention will be to increase customer retention and boost customer performance. Additionally, the Dealer Account Specialist, Retention will work closely with the Manager of Dealer Relations analyzing causes of retention and providing actionable solutions to drive down company churn.
The Dealer Account Specialist, Retention is a role focusing on saving cancelling accounts. You will manage upwards of 100 opportunities at a time and be charged with retaining a certain percent of those accounts. Your commission will be based on save rate and total MRR saved. The Dealer Account Specialist, Retention will focus specifically on Canadian accounts.
CarGurus’ Dealership customer base has various feedback and questions about CarGurus platform, so candidates will need to wear a customer service hat and be able to listen and respond to dealers and solve their issues in a timely manner. In this role, candidates must also be comfortable conveying issues to the rest of the CarGurus organization. Candidates must bring strong analytic, presentation, and problem-solving skills. As team members will have retention-focused sales numbers along with an expectation of upsell and cross-sell attempts.
Who You Are:
- 1-2 years of market experience
- Strong sense of customer service
- Good organizational & problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical background
- Proficiency or advanced proficiency with Salesforce & Excel
- Strong internal motivation
