What are we looking for?

We are looking for an independent leader to drive design, implement a new CPQ tool as well as take ownership of our RFP tooling, design, and ongoing management. This role will have a Global focus and align Regional based requirements into a Global framework. The ideal candidate has experience building and re-building systems and processes in relation to quoting and RFPs. This person is also passionate about enabling our Global Sales teams as well as our business partners to remain highly productive and will drive processes and improvements to accelerate this evolution at SentinelOne.  Experience building strong business partnering relationships with Legal, Product Management, Security and Cloud Security teams, HR and Finance is a must. 

What will you do?

  • Lead and influence the sales and quoting experience in a new CPQ implementation 
  • Document detailed requirements for quoting, approvals and configurations rules 
  • Be the primary point of contact representing Deal Desk in CPQ implementation
  • Remain daily contact to Sales for CPQ enhancements and quoting experience 
  • Develop and lead ongoing CPQ and RFP trainings ranging from new hires to experts
  • Reorganize RFP Library to maximize automation
  • Build RFP Support function to enhance Sales productivity within an RFP process
  • Coordinate across all business stakeholders to seek deal level inputs for complex RFPs
  • Take ownership of content review and ensure it remains up to date and relevant 
  • Continue to help build out RFP Q&A in additional languages 
  • Work independently and take lead in driving daily and global improvements
  • Be an active member of the Sales team supporting all team members globally while maintaining a strong service level
  • Collaborate among Global counterparts to ensure consistency and vigor around processes
  • Partner with Deal Desk to ensure key global processes related to our deals are being followed

What experience and skills you should bring?

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Sales in an operations, systems, process function
  • Ability to influence Sales teams and build strong collaborative relationships across multiple functions
  • Ability to listen to the needs of the Business Stakeholders and the Field and problem solve to get the necessary details and escalate as needed 
  • The startup builder mentality of working on RFPs but also setting up the system design and processes for scale to support future growth
  • Curiosity to go beyond the basics to really understand our GTM strategies to ensure our quoting experience and RFP content is optimized 
  • Self motivated and the ability to show initiative and follow through on tasks and assignments
  • The ability to work extremely cross functionally with all stakeholders to ensure all of business requirements are aligned in the RFP and CPQ system processes 
  • Strong verbal and written skills with an emphasis on the ability to summarize and translate complexity 
  • Bachelor degree in Operations, Finance, Systems Management, Product Management,  Technology or Economics. 
  • Required experience with G-Suite, Salesforce.com, RFP tooling such as Loopio, Qvidian, and CPQ tooling such as Steelbrick. Experience with coding and business systems tools is a plus.
