The Job

The Customer Success Manager at Tango Card plays a critical part in our mission to make rewards easy to send and awesome to receive. You will be immediately responsible for leading, servicing, and advocating for our business clients. In addition, you will be the face of the organization to our clients, and the customer's voice within our company. If you love solving complicated problems, customer interactions, and managing projects in a high-growth environment – this role is for you.

Reports to: Manager, Customer Success

As a Customer Success Manager at Tango Card, you’ll:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development and the Product Support Teams to understand client programs, set timeline expectations, collect required brand review information, and document as needed
  • Learn and anticipate clients' needs to deliver and communicate our value optimally thus creating product advocates out of our customers
  • Distill seemingly sophisticated information into clear and concise explanations
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience, utilizing the right internal resources to raise and problem-solve for critical client issues
  • Serve as the 'Voice of the Customer', collecting feedback on product and brand needs; provide feedback internally on how we can better serve clients and prioritize the product roadmap
  • Fulfill duties as requested to help ensure our customers' reward initiatives are successful and Tango Card's company targets are reached or exceeded

To be effective in our Customer Success Manager role, you must have:

  • 3+ years prior experience in Customer Success Management, Account Management, Customer Service, or similar support position
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal: you adjust your communication style based on the audience you are sharing with
  • Thorough and critical thinking strengths

Our ideal Customer Success Manager at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Self-motivated, ambiguity excites you with the possibilities to resolve problems
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can prioritize on-the-fly based on business needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, email communications and their various nuances (cc vs. bcc, etc.)
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce) and ERPs (Netsuite) a plus!
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and perfect your duties: you’re comfortable with change and work well in a dynamic environment
  • You seek help and put it to good use
  • You want to help and serve our clients: They succeed, so you succeed!
