What will you be doing?

As Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients are fully aware of the content they have licensed and understand how to access such content effectively. You will provide comprehensive client relationship management, which is achieved through collaborating closely with the Sales team, Business Development, Editorial and Technology, to overcome barriers to adoption. You actively seek opportunities to embed and grow usage of our services through direct client interactions.

In this role, you will provide an excellent customer experience to Argus customers from smooth on-boarding to ensuring effective delivery of services within the desired service level agreement. You will utilize the CRM, to track accounts throughout their subscription lifecycle, analyze client usage trends and identify tactics to drive growth and protect revenues. In addition, you will efficiently record client engagement activities, and accurately maintain customer and user records. You will deliver training sessions while also ensuring customers' desired outcomes are understood and then articulate how Argus will help meet this goal. You will evaluate new business opportunities relating to prices assessments, new products, and improvements to the existing product line. You will participate in client engagement initiatives to increase client retention and account penetration.

You will work closely with the Account Managers and Vice Presidents in the account planning process, ensuring account plans are updated to reflect customer success activities. You will travel as required within the region to visit customers and provide updates to existing subscriptions as well as identify cross sell and upsell opportunities. You will gather competitor intelligence, and be the client advocate when Argus is designing new products, engaging their feedback and voice to help shape changes to Argus products and launches of new offerings. You will run commercial reports as required - scheduled and ad-hoc, and attend relevant industry conferences/events and dedicated client events to increase awareness of Argus platforms and content.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience working in customer success or sales environment
  • Must be flexible with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, including the ability to relate successfully to a variety of people externally and internally, forging strong professional relationships
  • Confident and polite phone manner and ability to compose professional email correspondence
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Strong admin experience and numerical skills
  • Preferable experience using databases or sales processing systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong co-ordination and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in another language desirable
