JupiterOne (https://jupiterone.com) is a Cloud Security SaaS startup and we’re looking for a highly motivated Customer Success Engineer (CSE) to join our Customer Success team.


As a key member of the Customer Success organization at JupiterOne, the CSE acts as a trusted advisor and advocate for our rapidly growing customer base. By creating alignment at the stakeholder level, you will be responsible for ensuring success throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal and expansion.


The charter of the Customer Success team at JupiterOne is to create trust based relationships that guide our customers on a path toward maturity with our solution. The CSE supports this mission by using their knowledge, expertise, and relationship building skills to create success plans that help our customers achieve their planned use cases for JupiterOne and help to introduce additional usage scenarios.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships across assigned portfolio of accountsCollaborate with JupiterOne cross-functional team, including account team, solution architects, support, engineering and executives.
  • Ensure JupiterOne customers realize maximum return from their investment in our platform by achieving desired outcomes and use cases.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to assigned customers by demonstrating product expertise, including troubleshooting integrations, J1QL queries, alerting and other components of the JupiterOne platform.
  • Quickly identify risks to long-term customer retention and employ strategies to remove roadblocks and deliver success.
  • Creation and delivery of customer success throughout the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing health monitoring, regular customer success reviews and executive business reviews.
  • Identify and groom champions and potentially referenceable accounts.
  • Internal reporting of core CST activities including meeting cadence, issue and feature tracking and renewal forecasting

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in Customer Success or a related field
  • Experience owning retention, churn rate, and organic upsells.
  • Ability to identify key champions and potential areas of expansion.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Self-learner and self-starter, able to quickly become a product area expert.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud architecturesUnderstanding of SDLC process.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools.
  • Experience with vulnerability management.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools.
  • Desire to join a fast-paced startup!
