Our Team
We are a team of data, security, and marketing experts who have spent a lot of time working with large scale data at enterprises in Silicon Valley and India. We are backed by Kleiner Perkins and S28 and are looking to solve the customer data management problem in enterprises, once and for all, in a secure, compliant, and cost-effective way.
We have our team located in Silicon Valley, New York, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Athens.
Our roles are remote first, and can be based anywhere in the US (#LI-Remote).
Responsibilities
- You will own the post-sales technical strategy for our customers, helping them to establish a strong implementation of RudderStack to achieve their data goals
- You will be responsible for understanding the landscape of the modern data stack, providing clear technical direction to customers on the features of RudderStack and how our product enables this vision
- You will be hands on with some of our most strategic customers to help integrate RudderStack SDKs, configure sources and destinations, and write transformations - unlocking the value of customers’ data in their stack
- Triage any technical issues that arise, follow up, and make sure they are resolved adequately with engineering if need be
- You will interact closely with product, sales and engineering teams to ensure we are developing our product roadmap and features with the customer in mind
- Help uncover additional opportunities that are aligned with our account management strategy and revenue goals
What we are looking for
- 3 - 5 years of software engineering experience in a client facing or technology focused role, combining technical acumen with business aptitude
- Experience with Javascript or Python
- Solid understanding of REST and HTPP responses
- Basic understanding of mobile and web SDKs
- Solution oriented individual with the ability to build trusted relationships, who can understand technical priorities and goals of their customers
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to provide technical details to both technical, and non-technical audiences, simplifying complexities in a clear manner
- Self starter who takes initiative, with an appetite for continuous learning and contribution to the team, as well as the product overall
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams, levels of seniority, and influence structure (both customer facing, and internally)
