About the opportunity
The Customer Engagement Manager will be a key player on the Account Management team and will focus on core, customer-facing responsibilities, including managing the onboarding process for both project-based and enterprise customers as well as supporting Managing Directors and Directors in serving our customers. The Customer Engagement Manager will also have the opportunity to support Account Management Strategy & Operations and work cross functionally with the Marketing and Legal Partnership teams.
The Customer Engagement Manager will report directly to the Director of Account Strategy & Operations at Ontra, and can be located in any of our U.S. locations*
What you’ll do
- Account Onboarding: lead new project-based and enterprise customers from the initial onboarding call to full engagement
- Process Design: design and implement custom processes for new engagements in response to specific customer needs
- Account Management and Marketing: work with account managers and marketing team on customer outreach strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and drive new revenue opportunities
- Attorney Management: work with the attorney engagement team to manage the Ontra attorney community, ensuring that the attorneys remain happy and engaged
- Product Development: work with the engineering team to translate attorney and client feedback into product improvements that will make the Ontra application work better for all users
What you’ll bring
- Writing: must have excellent professional writing skills
- Diligence and attention to detail: effective project management and consistent delivery of timely, high-quality work
- Process-oriented: enjoys designing, refining, and executing complex processes
- Interpersonal skills: enjoys working with and talking to people, collaborating, and building relationships
- Self-directed: an ability to manage yourself with little oversight or direction
- Legal background: must have experience working with non-disclosure agreements and an ability to speak the legal language and empathize with both clients and attorneys
- Preferred: 1-3 years of legal administrative or paralegal experience
