The Red Hat Global Commercial Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Commercial Sales Intern who wants to gain practical experience with building a global sales strategy for a high growth segment at Red Hat during a summer internship to join our team in Plano, TX. What you will do

  • Be part of the change management team supporting the efforts to standardize our Commercial Sales segment around the globe
  • Help us land a new sales model that will require documentation that provides guidance to each role for their success
  • Work closely with the field engagement leader and the Global Enablement team to outline requirements for each role in the segment
  • Align with the Compensation team on metrics that will be measured and how each associate can accomplish these goals
  • Have a good understanding of Google Docs and create content that will be rolled out globally


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Knowledge of Google Drive


The following are considered a plus:

  • Previous experience working with sales enablement or documentation teams
  • Knowledge of Red Hat or other leading technology company
  • Passion for open source and working collaboratively
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
