COE Job Description
The Nuance Healthcare Client Outcomes Executive (COE) is responsible for selling the value proposition for Nuance Healthcare's solutions portfolio of technology and services. The COE is expected to create and foster relationships with the CFO's, CIO's, CMO's, CMIO's, Clinical Leaders as well as other senior executives and influencers within a subset of key strategic and National IDNs and establish Nuance as a strategic partner and trusted advisor. The COE will also have experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver comprehensive solutions to the healthcare marketplace.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Building trusted relationships and working closely with clients to help drive customer's desired outcomes, leveraging Nuance technologies and services
  • Ability to partner with key solution team members internally and orchestrate the defined account strategy to achieve the client's business objectives and new business quota targets
  • Develop an understanding of the clients' clinical documentation process, EHR deployment plans and digital transformation strategy, aligning an organization's financial, quality, and patient care needs with the appropriate Nuance solution and demonstrating the value proposition
  • Must be able to meet account coverage requirements assigned by the healthcare division, and develop and implement key account plans for the assigned clients
  • Utilizing strong selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, the COE will be tasked with driving net new business within the assigned accounts and expand the share of wallet, while helping maintain Nuance's standing as a trusted advisor with the client


Knowledge, Skill, Qualification:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 3+


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years, selling enterprise, cloud-based software solutions and services to the C-Suite within a Hospital/large IDN setting. Preferred experience in EMR, Artificial Intelligence, IT consulting services, cloud-based solutions, hospital financials, revenue cycle, and/or quality solutions.
  • Track record building strategic customer partnerships through selling or consulting with Healthcare customers.
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and strategically with all levels within an organization.
  • Extremely consultative approach in selling.
  • Possesses a creative mindset and ability to structure strategic, multi-product deals
  • Demonstrated solution selling skills and ability to align value proposition within messaging. Strong foundation using account planning strategies including Miller-Heiman, Spin, Sandler, Solution Selling or other recognized sales methodologies/certifications.
  • Skilled at penetrating, developing and growing accounts at the C-Suite level and exceeding multimillion-dollar annual sales quotas.
  • Strong ability to forecast and accurately manage accounts, opportunities, activity in CRM. Knowledge of salesforce.com a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including ROI quantification and justification
  • Strong knowledge of excel and deal/financial/portfolio modeling
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and make decisions.
  • Must be comfortable in a team selling environment and coordinating internal resources (Solution Specialists, Architects, Sales Engineers, Implementations, Executives) in support of the account plan and target client business outcomes
  • Must be self-motivated and driven.
