Department OverviewAvigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.
Recently Motorola Solutions has expanded our Video portfolio. It is this portfolio that will house the latest and greatest technologies associated with AI-powered solutions for video security, access control and mission-critical communications.
Job Description
Reporting to Avigilon’s Regional Sales Director, the Sales Executive, Video acts as a primary contact for all video solutions selling initiatives with end-users in territory, proactively manages their relationships and deploys sales actions and strategies in order to grow business and meet territory revenue goals.
The Channel Sales Executive - Video will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Promote and market Motorola video products and services within the assigned territory.
Support Motorola’s sales activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for products and services.
Support the territory Regional Sales Director and Senior Sales Director, North America, in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work, and track sales activities with channel, end user and distributor opportunities using lead and project tracking software databases.
Source, qualify, and manage: VADs (Value Added Distributors), Integrators, and VARs (Value Added Resellers). These must be proposed and reviewed with the Senior Sales Director, North America and Regional Vice President, North America North prior to signing.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:
4+ years of technical solutions sales experience.
Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required.
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a self-motivated problem solver.
Must be self-reliant and able to work effectively from a remote office
Time management skills are required and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting.
Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets.
Proven closing skills.
Exceptional presentation skills required.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.
Ability to travel weekly in territory
Physical security solutions experience a plus
Working knowledge of IP networking, Information Assurance and or Cyber Security a plus
Solid working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Google Productivity Suite is strongly desired.
