Channel Partnership Manager
3Play Media is a rapidly growing, profitable technology company with a startup culture making a huge impact on the way people consume online media. We provide premium captioning, transcription, audio description, and translation solutions to over 5,000 higher ed, enterprise, media, and government customers. Our goal is to simplify the workflow through flexible APIs, a secure online account system, and integrations with a multitude of players, platforms, and lecture capture systems. We got our start in 2007 out of MIT Sloan and we are based in Boston, MA.
The Partner Relationship Manager at 3Play Media will play a critical role in developing our go-to-market strategy through our technology & alliance ecosystem. This role supports the Strategic Alliance & Channel team's mission to grow mutual business with our ecosystem partners. The role reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances & Channel. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing strategic relationships, driving revenue through programs in conjunction with external partners, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and proactively seeking to improve partner experience.
DAY TO DAY:
- Manage relationships with existing 3Play Media referral partners to advance mutual commercial development
- Generate and strategically manage partner driven pipeline programs through proactive identifying opportunities across partners, customers and prospects.
- Align with 3Play Account Executives & Account Managers to leverage key partnership and strategic initiatives
- Lead partner marketing efforts and develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with 3Play marketing team (Webinars, Roundtables, Conferences, Events)
- Identify commercial opportunities across our referral partner ecosystem through account mapping,, create reports, forecast and present to sales management to ensure meeting quarterly targets.
- Create and improve partner-facing enablement materials and templates and educate our sales team on how to co-sell with partners.
- Act as the point of contact to increase partner knowledge on 3Play services and proactively train partners on our core proposition, new use cases and new service offerings.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 3-5 years experience in managing technology & alliance partners relationships and building commercial partner programs and/or business development experience
- Strong business acumen and desire to understand how businesses operate within a larger ecosystem.
- Adaptive and agile in a quickly changing environment with competing priorities.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem solving skills.
- You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills. Partners have the impression that you listen and understand their problems.
