About the Role

Reibus is looking for a Carrier Sales Representative who will be responsible for actively sourcing carrier capacity to fulfill our customers' shipping needs. This role will serve as the carrier’s primary point of contact and will work strategically to onboard and drive utilization of carrier partners.  If you are excited to develop mutually beneficial relationships that will serve our customers and carriers and for the opportunity to benefit financially from the increased utilization of the carriers within your portfolio, this is a great fit for you!  Reibus values and trains its employees and ensures that they have all the tools necessary to drive success. What will you be doing?

  • Cover booked freight through inbound and outbound call activity
  • Negotiate the best possible rate with the covering carrier to maximize profit
  • Capture carriers' available equipment in Reibus systems to enable match of booked freight to carrier capacity and grow carrier utilization
  • Prospect new carriers based on existing and potential shipment opportunities, articulate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
  • Ensure a superior customer experience by upholding our commitment to service
     

Qualifications

  • One year of logistics experience preferred
  • Self-motivated individual with proven issue resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Competitive spirit that drives you to be the best
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
