Capacity Sales Representative
Capacity Sales Representative's main objective is to identify available truck capacity within the Dedicated fleets and operations and to solicit freight from current customers, shippers and third-party brokers to maximize the available capacity and operational Revenue.
• Truckload board capacity ownership and accountability• Publish capacity• Negotiate rates for specific load needs• Internal/External communication for freight/capacity solicitation• Manage empty lane segments at the fleet level and work to reduce miles and increase revenue• Network with Werner Sales to grow committed customer backhaul freight• Prospect and cultivate new sales lead to enhance business growth• Provide quotes for current and prospective customers utilizing analytical and logistic planning• Initiate customer on boarding calls with AE's and customers• Knowledgeable in the use of AS400, Microsoft Office and other office database systems
