Business Intelligence Manager, CPG
Kinsa is bringing 21st century predictive analytics to the CPG Industry and we’re looking for a top notch Business Intelligence Manager to help us do it. This is an exciting and highly visible role working with some of the world’s most innovative CPGs, retailers, and pharmaceutical companies. You’ll work closely with the Product and Sales Teams to identify customer needs and create compelling insights to help accurately predict future sales demand to drive their business forward.

We’ve done this by successfully transforming the first device you grab when sickness strikes - the thermometer - into a sensor to detect when and where illness is rising, and communicate with those who have just fallen ill.
What you'll do:
- Value Creation. Work with customer teams to identify their key business needs and match organization capabilities to help achieve business goals. Quantify and communicate value delivered.
- ----Identify Opportunities: Help our customers uncover business opportunities with analytics using a category toolkit including, but not limited to: Kinsa signals, POS, and Syndicated Data.
- ----Voice of the Customer: Maintain an ability to keep CPG and retailer perspective and approach problem solving through this lens.
- ----Measure: Work jointly with the Sales Team and Customers to develop solution KPIs and continuously measure progress towards achievement. Ensure all customer deliverables are met.
- Best Practice Sharing. Ensure best practices and success stories are socialized with all Customers through regular training sessions, webinar participation and case study development.
- User Adoption. Evangelize the utilization of Kinsa Insights through training and validation across multiple use cases. Monitor utilization across all users and assist in making Kinsa Insights actionable.
- Engage Cross-Functionally. Drive Customer initiatives through cross function coordination with Sales, Product Management, Data Science and Engineering.
- Innovation. Facilitate collaboration between the customer and Product Management to develop jointly beneficial new products and solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management. Quickly create an indispensable, long-term, solution-focused relationship. Serve as a passionate customer advocate to build their business.
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Business Operations, Supply Chain Management or Marketing with relevant CPG or Retail experience in shopper marketing, supply chain, sales, 3rd party data providers and/or category management.
- Analytic skill requirements:
- Proficiency in Excel with the ability to do data analysis and mining is a must
- Experience working with season products and retail point-of-sale and syndicated data (e.g. Neilson and IRI) is preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis/mining software
- Account Management requirements:
- Excellent people skills and ability to build strong relationships customers
- Superior presentation and both oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills and prior exposure to developing and successfully executing against project plans
- Bonus points:
- Experience working within the health tech or with cold and flu products
- Previous consulting or professional services experience
- Ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and willing to proactively pitch in
This opportunity can be based anywhere in the US, with a preference for Bentonville, AR and requires less than 20% travel.
