About the Business Development Representative:

Take Command is seeking a self-starting, goal-oriented and results-driven professional to fill the role of Business Development Representative (BDR). As a BDR, your objective is to clearly express ideas in a manner that will build rapport with prospective broker partners and assist in managing existing key partnerships for long-term business growth and success. The ideal candidate will possess tenacious communication in building relationships and will proactively work toward sustaining those connections! 

What You'll Do:

  • Work as part of a Growth team with a focus on attracting net-new broker partners and business to Take Command (TC)
  • Establish relationships with prospective broker partners via email, phone and LinkedIn messaging to help them understand the value of ICHRA and TC
  • Use effective sales techniques to uncover customer needs that can be addressed through our solutions
  • Articulate the benefits of using our solutions to prospects across an array of industries
  • Support Growth team in expanding broker partner base within benefits industry
  • Track and analyze prospective broker and deal pipeline, presenting stats and progress to Growth team
  • Help strategize, implement and maintain an efficient outreach system, primarily within Hubspot Sales and Hubspot Marketing

You Might Be a Great Fit if You Have:

  • Excellent communication skills: Are you an excellent writer and have the gift for gab? Come work with us!
  • Persistence and a proclivity for follow-through.
  • The ability to understand and explain complex concepts, such as the revolutionary power of ICHRA!
  • Experience with Hubspot, Excel, Linkedin and Powerpoint is a bonus.
  • Strong attention for details and a passion for data.
  • Familiarity with brokers and the benefits/health insurance industry is a plus!
