Business Development Representative (BDR) - Partners
We are:
The Wix Partners team. We create and cultivate relationships with partners all over the country, demonstrating that Wix is the best fit for them and their clientele, and broadening our reach in the marketplace.
We're looking for a Business Development Representative to work with our Account Executives on developing new agency partnerships and work directly with professionals who use the Wix platform to create, design, or manage an online presence for clients.
You are:
A dynamic self-starter with at least 1+ years spent in a BDR/SDR role, or relevant work experience. You're an eager problem solver who eagerly stretches your comfort zone to grow your skillset. You're passionate about growing your sales career and focused on self-development and excellence. You're also an excellent verbal and written communicator.
Have a BA/BS degree? That's a bonus.
Closing experience? Also a bonus- we'll be asking you to do some of that in this role as well.
As a Business Development Representative, you will:
- Field inbound leads and qualifies potential agency partners over online chat and phone calls.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, cold-calling, emailing, and direct mailers into targeted accounts.
- Partner closely with the Account Executive team to schedule demos and follow-up calls.
- Work on the front lines of new Wix Partner team business initiatives helping us better understand client needs and even close some short-cycle sales opportunities.
While the U.S. Wix team is WFH during Covid-19, at this time we are seeking NYC-based candidates who are able and willing to work on-site in a hybrid model once we return to the office.
