Business Development Representative
Job Summary:
Alert Logic, the industry's first SaaS-enabled MDR (Managed Detection Response) provider, is looking for a Business Development Representative to join some of the industry's brightest minds that provide our customers and partners with security value and outcomes. The BDR will be primarily responsible for outbound prospecting, scheduling initial meetings, and securing technical demonstrations for qualified target accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with the Territory Managers and Account Executives to target key accounts within the assigned territory
- Utilize all possible means to prospect into new accounts, including heavy call volume, e-mail campaigns, LinkedIn et al.
- Generate leads and schedule meetings between potential clients and Account Executives and Territory Managers
- Sell technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2 years in similar prospecting role or direct inside sales role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in selling and positioning security solutions to business consumers
- Experience utilizing salesforce or other sales software
- Experience selling technical solutions in the security space
