The opportunity

Our Property Tax practice in Dallas is looking for a solution-driven relationship builder to join us as a Business Development Manager. You will play a critical role in our growth initiatives, expanding our market share as exceptional providers of property tax, sales tax, incentives, and unclaimed property services. You will develop and foster relationships with prospective clients and draw on insights and data to demonstrate how we can add value to their business immediately and as a long-term partner. In addition, you will expand your industry knowledge and presence by attending conferences and networking events to promote our company and services and cultivate relationships to generate new business.

You will become a highly recognized figure in the local real estate community representing our team at local network events and driving new product development initiatives as you identify the unique needs of your clients.

You will have:
  • The experience. You have 5-10 years of proven business development and sales success, including time in the real estate industry. You have a history of meeting and exceeding your sales quotas. You are metrics-driven and comfortable using various tools and resources (Salesforce, Excel) to generate leads, pursue and close deals, and grow and manage existing client accounts.
  • The communication skills. You can easily build a positive, professional relationship with stakeholders at any level - listening, understanding, and responding. You have an exceptional ability to understand a client's business needs and provide them with a solution; you are professional and present with poise and gravitas under pressure. You have outstanding negotiation skills. Your written abilities are equally strong.
  • The vision, instincts, and translation. You are a proactive thinker who can come up with innovative solutions quickly, but you take the time to truly understand the business needs of your clients. You believe in pursuing the long-term goals and the bigger closes, not the fast and easy ones. You are comfortable working across all levels of large organizations and institutions.
