The Avidxchange Business Development (Financial Services) team is a fast-growing group focused on creating opportunities for sales to engage with qualified buyers. This team also plays a vital role in the pipeline, bookings generation and influencing top-line revenue. Whether it's targeting accounts, partnering with sales, or following up on marketing qualified leads, this team is vital to the success of our company.

The right person for this role is confident in their ability to communicate the high-level values of our company and products while demonstrating behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture and delivering consistent results against aggressive goals. Responsibilities

  • Research target companies and key decision-makers to identify challenges and opportunities for AvidXchange and Financial Services division.
  • Develop marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads through personalization and discovery.
  • Partner with sales to define target accounts and create prospecting plans to convert into the sales pipeline.
  • Write compelling emails that will prompt prospective buyers to respond.
  • Utilize intelligent, direct questions to speak knowledgeably with top decision-makers and C-level executives.
  • Conduct preliminary needs analyses to determine areas where our company and products can provide the most value to prospects.
  • Secure qualified meetings with decision-makers.
  • Accept feedback and coaching to continue to improve and develop skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Superior outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation skills preferred
  • Strong ability to explain just about anything to anyone
  • Sincere interest in people and a high degree of comfort communicating with senior-level executives via email and phone
  • Demonstrated resiliency, confidence, and optimism
  • Strong analytical and active listening skills (Candidate gets the "Big Picture")
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Highest level of integrity
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM system is advantageous
  • A positive attitude and result-driven personality is welcomed
