We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Solution Partners to further grow our Solution Partner network and to find mutual success with our partners. You will be an integral part of our senior solution partner team to unlock the potential of a vibrant partner ecosystem.
What you will do
As a Business Development Manager for Solution Partners you will be joining the Solution Partner team - with a lot of opportunities ahead. Funnel has a quickly growing customer base of 1K+ customers and is launching a partner program for solution partners, to create a new sales revenue stream and provide scale for our services and success motions. You will recruit new partners and work closely with the Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success teams Boston, Stockholm, London and Dublin to help make the transition to a mixed direct and partner model. The solution partner program is a strategic initiative for Funnel, and as an early member of the partner team, you will have a fantastic opportunity to help shape the program.
As a member of the Solution Partner team you will help us to:
  • Grow the partner network from today's handful of partners to a healthy network across North America
  • Prospect, identify, qualify, and onboard new solution partners to rapidly ramp up the solution partner program and revenue derived from the solution partner channel
  • Find the first deal together with new partners to give the partnership a flying start
  • Identify opportunities for solution partners to extend and amend the value proposition of the Funnel solution

Who we think you are
We are looking for a team player with outstanding relationship-building and communication skills. You have a consultative approach and understand the business of our partners; agencies, system integrators, and IT consultants.

You have a structured approach to your own work, which helps you to be focused and effective even when things around you change. You are curious, eager to learn and you seek out opportunities to contribute.
Required experience:
  • 3+ years of experience from a sales, business development or partner sales role
  • A proven track record from outbound sales
  • Very good communication skills, verbally and in writing

Other qualifications - meriting:
  • Robust experience from a forward-leaning B2B software company is a plus, preferably a SaaS company with a strong partner model
  • Experience from the marketing technology space

What does this position pay?
As an organization, we believe that normalizing pay transparency and discussions about compensation are essential to pay equity and compliance with equal pay and civil rights laws. Currently, this roles' pay range is slated at $75-125K depending on skills/experience.
Where is Funnel located?
Funnel's US office is at 175 Federal Street, Boston, Massachusetts, and the corporate headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden.
Are you okay with remote work?
Mostly: Most people come in to the office 2-3 days a week (Tuesdays are big collaboration days) We plan to continue this hybrid policy - at this time, we do not see 100% remote work as a good fit for us.
