Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of experience, including 2 years of partnership management experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in online privacy, security standards, and product compliance like internet of secure things
• Experience operating within and providing leadership on cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations, etc.) across initiatives
• Experience working in Trust and Safety, policy areas, or program management/consulting experience
• Partnership development experience, including identifying partners, and structuring and discussing agreements
• Passion for and understanding of Android/Play products and Trust and Safety mission
• Problem-solving skills including an entrepreneurial and creative approach, persistence, attention to detail, and demonstrated collaboration instincts

About the job

On the Android Security and Privacy Business Development team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing relationships as well as securing new partnerships that help Android and Google Play grow responsibly. You'll work closely with the Security and Privacy Product and Intelligence Desk and Policy teams to identify where outside expertise can strengthen our cross-functional efforts, enhance our understanding of rapidly developing trends, and improve our existing technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external Trust and Safety experts, including sourcing partners, structuring, and discussing agreements, and diligently managing partners
• Manage a portfolio of Trust and Safety partners, analyze partnership effectiveness, proactively deploy tactics to optimize growth and efficacy, understand your partners' areas of expertise and capabilities, and provide thought leadership on new business and partnership opportunities
• Lead cross-functionally to secure buy-in for partnerships, including problem-solving legal, policy, business, operational and technical complexities
• Become a domain expert and thought leader in the Trust and Safety space
