The Team:
The Industry Business Development team is a top team of strategic industry subject matter experts within the GTM (Go To Market) organization that define and drive the Celonis point of view for all our strategic industries with the goal to support booking and revenue growth and long term development in the key industry customers.
The Role:
We are looking for highly talented, experienced, and passionate individuals who can effectively articulate how & why our solutions can help transform Customers' business and exceed their goals. You will also work with our Enterprise sales teams on the largest and most strategic accounts in the Healthcare Provider and Payor markets.
The work you'll do:

  • Become the key point of contact for Industry GTM topics in your industry(ies)
  • Conduct relevant customer and industry research to develop industry thought-leadership and points-of-view to publish online that can also be presented at Celonis events and 3rd party conferences
  • Present to and consult with GTM leadership on industry business trends with a view to developing new use case and values avenues
  • Lead Industry-focused community aligning our GTM teams around best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Work as part of the extended account team on the top strategic accounts in your Industry, providing bespoke expertise in a customer-facing capacity to develop and progress large sales opportunities.
  • Identify and drive the creation of the relevant industry use cases and corresponding sales assets (value propositions, industry trends, demos, etc.), working with the solution engineering and sales teams, and enabling all GTM customer-facing teams on these assets
  • Cultivate industry relationships/partnerships with key industry players including technology vendors (ex: EPIC, Cerner, Oracle, Workday, Infor, etc), distributors (ex: Cardinal, O&M, others, GPOs (ex: Premier, HealthTrust, Vizient)
  • Lead structured and programmatic industry demand generation activities, working with Celonis partners and the extended Celonis business partners like the value organization and marketing.
  • Adapt existing industry sales kits and re-usable assets to assist our sales teams in their industry customer engagements
  • Serve as Celonis Industry Evangelist at 1st and 3rd party events


The qualifications you need:

    • Prior Hospital (provider) Operations Leadership Experience
    • Prior Manager (or higher) experience at healthcare practice w/in a GSI or other
    • Experience in dealing with senior leaders plus good networking and strong influencing skills
    • Enterprise SW Sales Experience and/or work as an industry practitioner
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
    • Strong sense of ownership
    • Ability to lead and influence extended teams without formal line-reporting authority
    • Ability to take a practical approach to business development
    • Good Line-of-Business communication, and ability to present the industry concept internally (e.g., to Sales teams) and externally (in front of senior client or at events)
    • Engineering or Business Administration degree
    • MBA preferred, but not required
    • Fluency in English is essential and any additional European languages are a plus.

Compensation Information:
For positions in New York City only: We offer a base salary range of $135,000 - $165,000, based on a Full Time Schedule.
Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.
