Job Description Business Development Manager - Applied AI

GTI Applied AI's mission is to provide business value by solving complex, big scale, high impact problems. The team applies AI to solve open ended problems that align state of the art AI solutions with enterprise scale challenges. In doing so, the team build software systems, AI models, technological process and intelligent frameworks that minimize the technological risk, increase operational efficiency and increase the investment efficacy in general.
The Applied AI team requires a highly driven Business Development Manager who has a passion for building relationships with customers and driving the adoption of our applied AI products. The business development manager will be working closely with product managers and technical project managers to onboard new customers and guide them through our technology evaluation process. This role also collaborates with data scientists and engineers to ensure we are delivering what our customers need. We are looking for an enthusiastic innovator, someone who loves to take initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do

  • Build and own relationships with senior stakeholders by developing a strong understanding of their line of business as well as advising on new opportunity areas for AI.
  • Develop new business use-cases for applied AI capabilities with new and existing customers
  • Lead evaluation of potential use cases for AI ML to determine business value and viability of the opportunities to pursue.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of Product Managers and Business Development Managers, as well as with a wider team of Software Engineers, Data Scientists, UX experts and more
  • Continuously work to innovate internal team processes and client engagement processes
  • Screen and prioritize customer use-cases
  • Engage in client and stakeholder meetings to understand their requirements, determine feasibility, and evaluate risks
  • Develop reports for senior stakeholders to communicate progress and value delivered on their AI Transformation journey.


What you have

  • Bachelors degree with several years of work experience
  • Business development, customer success or sales experience in a technology field
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • UX skills to make written communication user-friendly and readable
  • A strong strategic thinker with exceptional business development and account management skills
  • Outstanding at getting in front of customers, gaining buy in and then selling AI capabilities to meet their business needs
  • Has excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn AI ML technologies


Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • A passion for technology and AI/ML
  • Experience using Confluence, JIRA, MS Project
  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders and management
  • Project Management experience
