With over 30% growth expected in 2022, West Monroe is looking for a Sr. Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Dallas, generating business across the TOLA Region. Specifically, you will be driving new management/technology consulting engagements in Customer Experience (CX) focused on Sales, Service, and Marketing for our Customer Solutions Practice which is a Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partner. You will provide support to the regional delivery team and Customer Solutions Practice leaders both in the Central U.S. and Nationally on a variety of business development initiatives. This is an outstanding role for a sales and account management professional with strong relationships that is looking to advance their business development career with a fast-growing company. What will you be doing?

Relationship Management

  • Leverage your personal network of Customer Experience relationships in the Central U.S. to secure executive-level introduction meetings to generate new business at target accounts
  • Bring vertical market sales experience in the Healthcare AND/OR High-Tech and Software space
  • Research new prospects, new contacts, and map/segment the Central U.S. marketplace
  • Attend industry and alliance conferences in the Central U.S. to introduce West Monroe to new prospects and understand the latest industry trends

Sales Performance

  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding $5M + in annual sales
  • Domain expertise in front-office business functions: Sales, Service, Marketing
  • 7+ years of selling consulting and advisory services to executive-level corporate strategic buyers
  • Familiarity with selling in the consulting/professional services business model: SOWs, pricing, pursuit strategy, practice collaboration
  • “Hunter Mentality” approach to field sales
  • Team closely with WMP Marketing to develop new client case studies/project summaries and execute Marketing campaigns and follow up into new prospects and existing accounts for opportunity identification and qualification
  • Lead and/or collaborate on key account planning, and execute those plans for account growth

Alliance Development - Salesforce

  • Leverage your alliance relationships, particularly those in the Salesforce (Salesforce.com) - network of relationships in Salesforce ecosystem is preferred
  • Collaborate with West Monroe’s Salesforce Partner Alliance Manager to develop and maintain unique, industry-specific alliance connections with Salesforce that can drive pipeline and/or mutual account targeting between Salesforce and West Monroe
  • Map unique digital solutions deployed by West Monroe on Salesforce technologies to their field sales organization for repeatable solution sales

We need someone who can bring the following to the table:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Customer Experience, Sales, Service, and Marketing issues and technical solutions
  • Strong Central Region business contacts in high-tech and software industry
  • Hands-on experience selling in the Salesforce ecosystem and/or worked at Salesforce in a prior position in sales or other capacity
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in Digital CX
  • Ability to travel on short notice
  • Able to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving sales processes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Aggressive self-starter who can also quarterback collaborative pursuit strategies
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Membership and participation in business / community associations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
