OVERVIEW

Instacart recently acquired FoodStorm, the market leading order management system (OMS) that powers end-to-end order-ahead and catering experiences for grocery retailers. By integrating FoodStorm’s technology, we’re expanding our enterprise technology portfolio and investing in more innovative technology solutions that help retailers grow, compete, and better meet the evolving needs of their customers.

As a Market Strategy & Planning Associate you’ll be responsible for driving sales of the FoodStorm product both within existing Instacart accounts and the wider catering market.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Act as a first point of contact for all inbound lead inquiries and qualify their fit for FoodStorm.
  • Proactively identify, contact, and establish relationships with potential target partners according to agreed market strategy.
  • Lead product demonstrations and support the sales process as an expert in the FoodStorm solution.
  • Collaborate with marketing to build the pipeline and enhance the prospect experience.
  • Ensure all relevant prospect information is promptly recorded into CRM.
  • Responsibly consult with and brief the client delivery team and other relevant internal stakeholders to ensure successful client transition from the sales process to implementation. 
  • Regularly communicate regional updates to Australian HQ, representing regional updates (which will occasionally require meetings outside of local business hours).
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams internally to share market knowledge and best practices.

ABOUT YOU

  • A self-motivated, quick learner with 3-5 years previous SaaS and solution demo experience.
  • Driven to achieve a positive outcome. 
  • Ability to effectively manage time and work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt to different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and quick communication response times.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, both for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acts with honesty and integrity and upholds moral standards.
  • Creative problem-solver.
  • Open to occasional travel.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and sales process management with ability to record and maintain accurate information. 
  • Sound level of computer literacy and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
