What We're Looking For

We have an opportunity for an English/Spanish Bilingual Account Executive (AE) to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing accounts, and assessing risk on freight bills. Our AEs are responsible for making quick business decisions that have a real impact on Apex and our clients.

Initial training will be conducted onsite, and will transition to a combination of on-site/off-site work. For this reason candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Opportunity to Excel

Our Account Executives are the first point of contact for our clients. They make sure that the Apex process fits our clients' needs, which sometimes means educating clients on other services we provide that will help grow their business. We provide opportunities for our Account Executives to travel (10%) and meet their clients in person to build connections, assess needs, and see first-hand the impact of their work. They also lead the charge on promotion and cross-selling of new services or products to their account base.

Our best Account Executives keep laser focused on maintaining positive working relationships with their clients, keeping in mind that Apex's success is built on the success of our client's businesses (many have held accounts for 10+ years!). Their strong internal drive to provide the best services on the market motivates them to proactively address pain points and quickly react to issues. Our top performers regularly go above and beyond what is required of them to add value for our clients - such as creating new business solutions, championing process improvements, or personalizing communications. Desired Qualifications

We want excellent communicators with strong problem solving and negotiation skills. We are looking for fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Spanish. A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferable or equivalent work experience. This role does demand a high level of comfort making quick (but well-reasoned) decisions involving large amounts of company and client funds. Experience maintaining client accounts or managing a portfolio of business is strongly preferred.
