Job Description

Develop subject matter expertise to influence customers toward ADI solutions. You will provide both external and internal consultations, and will help ADI teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will help achieving cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability. You may provide valuable input for product development. Be a go-to person that bridges product strategy and implementation. Help ADI win customers by sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market. Develop your understanding of ADI value proposition, influencing customer choice in a smart way.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop detailed project scope of work to summarize in clear terms the system functionality specific to client/end-user needs for each project
  • Complete remote site survey (as needed) of project location(s) to assess site conditions, recognize potential difficulties, and compile all information to share with the project team
  • Work with integrators to calculate an accurate estimation of job hours to successfully complete project based on the scope of work
  • Assist Outside Sales to assess project functionality to compose a bill of materials that accurately reflects the project scope of work
  • Work in coordination with the project team to successfully complete each project
  • Provide guidance & assistance to the project team regarding AV installation methods & procedures
  • Identifies and communicates long lead items
  • Monitors and supervises the progress of the AV project
  • Assist Sales with bid pricing/service contract pricing for prospects.
  • Meet with vendors to assist in evaluating products if requested.
  • Provides metric and data analysis, insight, and recommendations
  • Identify new manufacturer partnerships to drive growth
  • Assist in CAV educational and training programs for ADI field sales and customer


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 by start date
  • Minimum 5 years experience in residential and/or commercial A/V industry
  • Minimum 2 years in l residential and/or Commercial AV system design or technical support
  • Positive and effective interaction with internal and external customers
  • Travel will be required (trade shows and training)
  • Networking skills/background
  • AutoCAD, Visio or like design software skills
  • Programming/design experience with Control Systems (Crestron, AMX, Control 4, RTI, and/or Extron)


WE VALUE:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Programming/design experience with lighting control systems
  • Design experience with home theater
  • Design experience with distributed audio systems
  • Programming/design experience with DSPs (BiAmp, BSS, Crestron, and/ or Q-SYS)
  • Video Conferencing background
  • CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, IST, ESC-N, and/or ESC-D
  • Residential/Commercial l AV certifications
  • Excellent computer skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
