As an Associate Technical Account Manager for our New Relic Global Technical Hub, you will enable leading startups, and mid-level enterprise customers to achieve their key objectives by adopting New Relic. You will be an advisor and driving force in customer journeys from their evaluation, initial onboarding, value realization, and expansion throughout the lifecycle. We are looking for innovative, and growth-driven individuals having problem-solving skills, a zest for technology, and excellent communication skills who are seeking an opportunity to learn and develop their career in a customer-facing and technical role.
What you'll do

  • Understand customer's product architecture, their objectives and current state of observability.
  • Help guide customers to implement and map New Relic solutions to their business and technical requirements.
  • Drive progress in maturing through Customer's Observability life cycle.
  • Proactively look for optimizations, improvements and enhanced solutions that would help customers solve problems with better insights.
  • Give hands-on demonstrations, and enablement sessions on a variety of technical topics, e.g instrumentation, building dashboards, and setting up alerts.
  • Help customers overcome technical issues by troubleshooting and deep dive analysis.
  • Demonstrate customer-first approach in making them successful using New Relic.
  • Track and prioritize work streams across multiple customers.
  • In the process, become an Observability, SRE, DevOps and Solutions expert.


This role requires

  • Product and IT systems working knowledge. Eg. 3 Tier architecture, Web platform, Networking, etc.
  • Ability to understand customer problems and ask appropriate discovery questions for clarification
  • Gather and analyze information/problems skillfully to provide resourceful solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud platforms and some experience with coding/scripting.
  • Ability to Prioritize, Document and Track multiple work streams in parallel.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.


Bonus points if you have

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a technical subject.
  • Ideally, one year of experience in a customer-facing technical role where observability is part of the toolset such as DevOps engineer, SysAdmin, or SRE.
  • Cloud certification/Working knowledge in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and prior experience with Kubernetes, Cloud infrastructure, or DevOps tools.
  • Working understanding about any Observabiltiy/Monitoring tools. (Eg. New Relic, Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, etc)
