We are looking for an Associate of Institutional Investor Sale for our Investor team in our San Francisco office. The Associate of Institutional Investor Sale will be responsible for building the institutional funding channel and selling Upgrade’s loan product, securitizations and custom structures on a forward flow basis or one off transactions to a variety of institutional investors. This position reports into the EVP, Head of Investor Group.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow the institutional investor sales team
- Present Upgrade’s unsecured consumer loans and any subsequent products that Upgrade develops to domestic and foreign institutional investors
- Develop best-in-class investor experience and document investor operations procedures
- Work with product managers and engineers to ensure integrity of investor data reports
- Manage the on-boarding of new investors including account opening and documentation review
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in institutional investor sales at a financial technology or asset management firm
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and a strong client service orientation
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and recognize and focus on critical issues
