Job Description

Your Career

As a member of the Palo Alto Networks INTEL sales team, you will report to the District Sales Manager for the U.S. Department of Defense and INTEL District. Working together with a Systems Engineer, you will be accountable for delivering creative solutions to IC accounts. You will be responsible for managing this territory to deliver above quota sales performance. Palo Alto Networks has chosen to go to market with Security Focused Channel partners; you will be responsible for working with appropriate Channel and System Integration partners and training them on the Palo Alto solutions specific to the customers’ requirements. 


Your Impact

  • IC Associate Account Manager trained in selling security appliances and/or software including but not limited to: Next Generation Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches, Cloud Security solutions, Endpoint Security and Security Orchestration and Automation

  • Associate sales position learning and executing achievement of quota, initial seeding of accounts, and closing large enterprise deals

  • Identifying and collaborating with partners to develop "go to market" solutions

  • Guide your customers in their search to transition to a more secure online environment

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years or above experience with IT, software and/or hardware or Program Management 

  • 2-4 years experience within IC agencies exhibiting knowledge within the IC community 

  • Self-motivated with superb organizational skills

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment 

  • 3-4 years type of experience in forecasting, managing programs, and working with decision makers demonstrating problem solving capabilities

  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Desire to learn and execute sales penetration into new customer accounts

  • Some experience working with suppliers and/or Channel partners 

  • Top-Secret required TS-SCI security clearance highly preferable

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $220,000/yr - $275,000/yr The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
