Summary of the role:

  • The role will be responsible to manage & grow the relationship with our Airline customers and prospects, supporting existing solutions and services, manage the commercial relationships and revenue generation in cooperation with the Sales and Customer Product & Solutions team to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • As full responsible for the accounts, the role needs:
    • Manage all sales/project steps, identifying hurdles and competitors' strategy.
    • Manage the customer satisfaction ensuring Amadeus internal units and services will be delivered in time to successfully achieve the sales and revenue targets
  • Key actions under this responsibility would include:
    • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between the strategic Airline account(s) and Amadeus
    • Adopt a consultative selling approach
    • Attendance to industry and regional events, targeting to maintain the most updated links with industry
  • Becoming Airline's ambassador in Amadeus and Amadeus' ambassador in Airline, providing full support for current and new activities with the objective to retain and grow existing portfolio and additional revenues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and Amadeus positive perception in the region and accounts under responsibility. Targeting a positive net promote score on our customer satisfaction surveys



About the ideal candidate:

  • Education: University's degree required (preferrable degree in engineering)
  • Previous expertise in sales, business development, product marketing, or customer management preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience: Experience in product management, project management is a nice to have.
    • Ability to interact with different levels of the customer structure and create long term relationship.
    • Strong interpersonal skills linked to a multicultural environment.
    • Negotiation, analytics, and presentation skills
    • Finances understanding, excel management and medium level of business case interpretation.
    • Proficient in remote working (tools and culture)
    • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Travel/Airlines or in a technology company
  • Business Understanding:
    • Industry expertise/airline expertise/travel related expertise
    • Demonstrated ability to develop positive and influential relationships. Airline industry technology experience strongly preferred
  • Skills:
    • Computing: Advance skills in Microsoft Office suite. Salesforce, Seismic among other productivity related products is nice to have.
    • Languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese is a plus.
    • Specific Knowledge: Understanding of Airline IT and Distribution concepts and solutions is a nice to have. Technology high user is a must.
    • Other: Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and integrity; The ability to build professional trust and respect.
      • Team player and proactive contributor.
