As an Account Specialist 1, our job is to work closely with our diverse team of colleagues to ensure outstanding client service and risk consulting. Assisting Account Executives, leading key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes is a large part of the role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail are a plus in the position. This position allows for flexibility in work location, as working from home/hybrid schedule is standard.

WHAT A DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:

  • Demonstrating skills performing activities such as actively supporting and supervising the renewal process, confirmation of new and renewal policies, recording of policy receipts and deliveries, verification of endorsements, review of AR/AP reports and follow up for revenue collection.
  • Serve as a key client liaison for coordinating with the Aon Service Center items such as certificates of insurance and auto ID cards.
  • Collect and analyze data and drafts for renewal submissions and applications to the market, renewal strategies, renewal proposals and other convincing presentations
  • Challenge yourself by undertaking new and stimulating projects!



SKILLS THAT WILL HELP FIND SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience working in the Property / Casualty Insurance industry with proven experience in performing administrative support, as well as some analytical tasks.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to clearly express thoughts and concepts at various levels.
  • Excellent digital literacy, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of shown experience. Active Property & Casualty license must be maintained in order to accurately service clients.
