The Account Strategist (Marketplace Services Department) will be responsible for supporting Account Managers through on-time execution of projects and tasks. This position will manage partner content and catalogs, as well as inventory planning, inventory health and shipment creation. They will be the voice of the partner, managing customer feedback and customer-facing messaging. From digital content creation and product research to customer service, and operations reporting, this role will be critical to daily operations in the ever-evolving and exciting e-commerce space.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Managers with day-to-day tasks to support the growth of our brand partners 
  • Catalog management, including the creation of new products, updating parent-child variations, merging duplicate and updating product categories 
  • Monitor and respond to Buyer Messages within the marketplace SLA 
  • Responsible for monitoring and addressing product and seller feedback, as well as maintaining feedback solicitation templates, ensuring they remain within the marketplace SLA 
  • Analyze and report on account performance on a weekly and bi-weekly basis, providing written reports that will be sent to clients 
  • Carry out detailed note-taking during partner calls, as well as entering action items into project tracking software 
  • Analyze inventory position as needed and create FBA shipments, in addition to FBM orders for on-time fulfillment and tracking 
  • Reconcile shipments, request necessary documentation for shipment delivery or accuracy, open and monitor cases for shipment reimbursement 
  • Monitor and report on all aspects of inventory health including inventory age, in-stock rates, storage availability, and IPI score 
  • Troubleshoot stranded or inactive inventory and take necessary steps to reactivate 
  • Upload and organize partner content and creative (SEO, Posts, A+, Store, etc.) 
  • Maintain ongoing education of Amazon and their programs 

Experience

  • General knowledge of Amazon (e.g., FBA shipments, Buy Box, ad units, reporting, etc)  
  • OR 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet skills (i.e., working with large datasets for data transformation and analysis leveraging vlookups, pivot tables, creating dashboards, etc.)  
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines in a team environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

Bonus Points

  • Specialized knowledge of Amazon (e.g., content SEO, advertising, comparative reporting/analytics, etc.)
  • Experience with any e-commerce SEO
