BASIC PURPOSE: The Account Executive monitors the collateral quality of a book of factoring clients to minimize credit losses while increasing the term and profitability of the client/factoring relationship.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and assess the client's needs.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with factoring clients.
  • Organize documentation and prepare client invoices as needed.
  • Monitor and direct verifications.
  • Approve daily advances.
  • Monitor collateral quality and collateral trends.
  • Prepare documents of selected accounts for credit quality review meetings.
  • Collaborate with inter departments on issues that arise with your book of clients.
  • Manage client liquidations or workouts as needed.
  • Work with outside sales team to maintain relationships with your book of clients.
  • Handle other duties as needed.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years in a credit authority position, in a factoring or commercial finance environment preferred.



SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with Cadence Software is a plus.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
