Account Manager
Yes, we’re growing again! Pumpkin is looking for an Inside Sales/ Relationship Manager to help us on our mission to create a happier, healthier world for pets and their people. Reporting into the Director of Customer Success, you will assist with the launch of new product offerings and maintain a nurturing relationship through account management and collaboration with the outside sales team.
What You'll Do:
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals within your territory
- Generate leads and policies, building effective and lasting relationships with veterinary hospitals, shelters, and clinics
- Educate vet hospitals, shelters on the value of Pumpkin insurance and benefits in engaging pet owners
- Partner with our marketing and design teams to create sales collateral, presentation decks, etc.
- Successfully communicate and drive Pumpkin’s newest services and initiatives
- Develop and execute territory business plans, routinely adjusting strategies and tactics to maximize performance based on market and customer information/needs
- Nurturing existing accounts through regular check-in, ensuring continuous support and maintaining relationships with hospital staff
- Utilize and become proficient in our CRM (Salesforce) to track and improve customer engagement on a daily basis

What We're Looking For:
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS)
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Experience creating meaningful relationships in a virtual environment
- Strong presentation and training skills
- Strong peer leadership and ability to influence without authority
- A change agent, continuous learner, and someone who can push themselves/others beyond dominant logic
- Experience working in a highly fluid and ever-changing environment
- Willingness to work evenings and across various time zones
- Ability to pass/obtain a Property & Casualty License within six weeks
Bonus Points:
- P&C insurance license
- Proven track record of meeting sales activity expectations and sales goals
- Pet insurance background
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Animal health/hospital experience
- Experience launching new products and building a book of business
- Knowledge of DISC profile
