Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in adversiting sales, digital media, media, adtech, tech, or marketing.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Solid client-facing experience, with experience influencing across levels and advising on performance improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs to strategically problem-solve and expand the client relationship.
  • Detail-focused seller with solid project management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and build internal/external relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, combined with sound business judgment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

As a Google Account Manager on the Performance Team, you'll help provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions to our customers. You will drive and grow new business with Google's Performance advertisers, and manage business relationships to ensure that Google's customers' needs and requirements are met.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow a book of business with Google's Performance advertisers.
  • Manage day-to-day customer relationships and media buys across Google Search, Shopping, Display, and Video platforms.
  • Partner with Account Executive to consult on long-term strategic growth opportunities while also managing in-quarter business growth goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with specialist teams across Google Marketing Platforms, Video, and Search to deliver the highest level of service and customized plans to the customer.
  • Analyze internal and external data to quantify opportunities, anticipate risks, build narratives, develop solutions to customer challenges, and measure success.
