Job Overview
Paylocity is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual seeking to expand their career into the global payroll industry. Account Managers are the main point contact for their clients. They build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find the services and processes which best fit the individual needs of the client. They also aid internal departments by collecting information and assist in the processing and analysis of client data and escalations.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about client behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to client account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving escalations and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the overall experience.
  • Working with clients to answer their questions about how to best utilize company software to process payroll and establish process flow.
  • Setting up user accounts and beginner level training on company software.
  • Setting up and training on special features or introduce new features as they are released.
  • Communicating with vendors to resolve problems, gain better understanding of correct process and analyzing escalations.
  • Setting up and managing conference calls with client and vendor to clarify questions or concerns.
  • Intervene in urgent situations where there may be a security breach or timely payroll funding assistance is needed.
  • Providing service quotes and follow process for invoicing.
  • Answering routine invoicing questions.

Qualifications

  • Previous payroll industry experience.
  • Payroll processing or HRIS systems experience ideal.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $47,843 - $80,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
