Account Manager (EveryAction)

Responsibilities & Requirements
We are looking for an Account Manager with demonstrated experience using or implementing CRM tools to further nonprofits' missions.
What You'll Do:
- Guide nonprofit clients through their first few months in their EveryAction platform, ensuring a successful transition from their previous system
- Project-manage clients' onboarding, using tools such as Trello, and work closely with other internal teams (such as Data Services and Customer Success) to ensure a smooth overall client experience
- Help clients understand how best to use EveryAction tools to set up program workflows
- Work hands-on with clients on how best to accomplish their goals around donor management, data, and reporting, acting as product consultants and ensuring clients are set up for long-term success
Who You Are:
- You have 3-5 years of fundraising experience in leveraging CRM software for fundraising - either from the nonprofit side, at an agency, or another software company .
- Communication is at the heart of everything Account Managers do. You have impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal. You can successfully run client meetings and working sessions and can translate technical information and tasks in ways that nonprofit clients can understand.
- You have strong project management skills and are comfortable with online project management tools (Trello, Harvest, Asana, Smartsheets, Basecamp, etc.).
- You can manage to specific budgets and timelines. You are polite but firm in enforcing project milestones and due dates.
- You are currently, or have been recently, a power user in a nonprofit CRM. Bonus points for having experience with CRM conversion projects.
- You are highly self-motivated and technically curious - you understand that the best way to learn a new system is by diving in and testing it yourself.
- You work well within cross-functional teams of data specialists, customer success managers, and product experts, both taking direction and taking ownership for getting tasks done.
- You are detail-oriented, great at following up and do not let things slip through the cracks.
- You are motivated by helping mission-driven organizations raise more money and increase their impact in the world.
Bonus Points:
- You "speak fundraising" and understand functions such as building campaigns, setting up source code structures, and effectively reporting on fundraising activities in a CRM. Extra bonus points if you have experience with direct response fundraising and direct mail in particular.
- Experience with EveryAction or NGP tools is a huge plus.
- You can analyze and align organizations' business processes with CRM software features and capabilities.
- You have an established network in the nonprofit technology world.
- You have prior experience with Atlassian project management tools: Trello, JIRA, and Confluence.
- You have one or more certifications relevant to the essential skills above, such as a PMP or CFRE.
This position will primarily work with onboarding new clients but may also work with ongoing (post-launch) clients that purchase monthly hours, as well.
