Our employees have the flexibility to work in one of our office locations, completely remote, or a hybrid of the two. Please note, we are hiring on a remote working basis only in the U.S. and Canada.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Basis Candidates and Causes team is passionate about helping issue advocacy and political organizations further their causes and win big races. The team consistently grows Basis footprint of organizations that specialize in cause-based advertising by selling through Basis technology and services offerings. Team members are both business and politically savvy, self-motivated, consultative and hyper-focused on solutions for our clients. At its core, this is a team of problem-solvers that excels at developing strong partnerships.
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
This position is an individual contributor role on the Candidates and Causes team. You will be primarily responsible for cultivating and growing client relationships, presenting Basis as a strong partner within your territory, achieving quarterly revenue goals and working collaboratively with internal teams. You will contribute by:
- Developing a strong understanding of Basis technology and media solutions
- Taking a tech-first approach in helping issue advocacy-based advertisers and political campaigns gain a winning edge
- Cultivating and developing senior-level relationships with Trade Associations, Public Affairs groups, Non-profit and Political Organizations
- Creating consultative solutions that focus on direct outcomes for our clients
- Managing and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Serving as an industry expert and thought leader within the digital advertising space
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 3-5 years in digital media; political campaign or public affairs experience required
- Knowledge of paid digital media including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, programmatic buying and buying technologies is preferred
- History of growing existing client bases and building lasting client and vendor relationships
- The drive to win and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as contributing to a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
BONUS POINTS
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to stay highly organized, optimistic, and coachable through quickly changing situations
- CRM experience (Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoho, etc)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
