DNSFilter was born out of necessity. Our founders realized that the existing solutions for DNS security out there were clunky, convoluted and over priced. In 2015, they set out on a simple yet crucial mission-to revolutionize DNS security. We've come a long way since our humble beginnings. We support over 14,000 organizations, including Fortune 500 customers like NVIDIA, and provide service to millions of end users. At the start of 2020, our software was processing 1B queries/day. One year later, we're now processing 14B queries/day! In the middle of a global pandemic, our team (and product) thrived. We doubled the size of our team, and we're looking to do it all over again in 2021.
To sustain our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team. You're a hunter by nature and aren't afraid to chase down leads. You have a track record of sourcing 25% of your own pipeline and know how to close deals. You'll also be extremely tech savvy, as you'll be having conversations around topics such as content filtering, firewalls, VPNs, malware and AV Products.
You will:
- Reach out via phone and email to leads that have signed up for a trial, attended a webinar, or were referred by someone else
- Schedule and lead product demos with both technical and business audiences
- Develop and nurture relationships with your clients
- Build and execute a comprehensive plan that converts leads into paid customers
- Travel as needed to industry events
You have:
- 2+ years sales experience, specifically being comfortable and confident enough to speak directly to decision makers and executives
- A strong background in technology (you've probably set up a website, can change settings in your router and know your way around a CRM)
- The ability to breakdown complex technical products into digestible pieces for non-technical people
- Built sequences in Outreach and have experience with Salesforce
Bonus points for:
- A strong understanding of computer networking protocols, DNS, Routing/switching, TCP/IP etc.
- An energetic & entrepreneurial team player who is a strong and proactive communicator
- Self-starter who operates independently while being collaborative with the broader team
