Summary:The HSN Account Executive is responsible for a team focused on a subset of named Health Systems with more than 200 beds in the Toledo, OH / Detroit, MI area, selling the portfolio of Healthcare AI solutions and services into this setting. This portfolio of solutions leverage artificial intelligence to enable our clients to achieve a "First Time Right" documentation outcome. Capabilities include Ambient and Speech solutions, Virtual Assistants, specialty specific Computer Assisted Physicians Documentation (CAPD) and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI). Key focus is on new account development and expansion within existing accounts.
The HSN Account Executive is expected to foster effective relationships with the senior executives and influencers at IDN's and hospitals, with experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver comprehensive solutions to the healthcare marketplace. He/She will develop prospects through obtaining an understanding of organizations' clinical documentation plans and EHR deployment, managing strategic selling opportunities, problem solving, presenting software product solutions and closing sales, while exceeding assigned territory quota.
Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility will be to drive new sales activity and business in defined territory and with named accounts through direct relationships and working through partners by solution selling.
  • Responsible for the development of a territory plan and executing against that plan by leveraging internal resources (Solution Specialists, Inside Sales and Sales Engineers).
  • Manage and maintain a strong pipeline through Salesforce and reporting to Sr. Management on a regular basis of sales activities.
  • Partnering and working with a variety of Corporate and Value-added partners selling the Speech and AI solutions into the territory.


Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum years of work experience: 3+
Required Skills:

  • 3+ years direct end-user sales experience, selling complex, large-scale projects and effective territory development and execution
  • Excellent presentation skills including in person, Teams/Zoom, conference calls, trade shows, and more
  • Proven ability to successfully frame winning deals and negotiate against competitors
  • Understands the business environment of government markets including competition, procurement, and decision criteria
  • Skilled at penetrating new accounts and exceeding annual sales quotas.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and foster relationships at the C Level and below.
  • Ability to demonstrate software in response to customer requirements, showing how the solution fulfills these needs
  • Preferred Experience with speech recognition or AI highly preferred
  • Responsible for accounts in the OH, this position is preferred to be based within the territory.
