Supply Chain Account Executive (DemandCaster Business Unit)

As a Supply Chain Account Executive, you will focus on delivering new business and revenue growth within the DemandCaster Business Unit (BU). This is a quota-carrying role and you will drive new business by selling DemandCaster on a standalone basis and by supporting sales of DemandCaster to new and existing Plex customers. You will also work closely with your Marketing counterpart to support demand generation and field marketing initiatives targeting prospects across retail, distribution, and manufacturing companies. Reporting directly to the General Manager of the BU, this role is ideally suited to a talented sales person looking to operate with a high degree of autonomy and within an entrepreneurial environment.

WHAT'S YOUR IMPACT?

  • Drive new business sales in a high velocity sales environment.
  • Deliver record new business pipeline, bookings, and quota retirement for DemandCaster against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets; focus on retail, distribution, and manufacturing verticals.
  • Prospect new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Manage sales cycles, perform lead qualification, provide product demonstrations, structure, negotiate, and close new business.
  • Design and implement sales strategies that ensure we meet our new business bookings objectives.
  • Research prospective organizations to identify key customer stakeholders; use insight and consultative selling techniques to advise customers; offer unique fact-based perspectives and build consensus supporting DemandCaster's value proposition.


IS IT IN YOU?

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success selling software solutions (SaaS and Supply Chain preferred).
  • Strong desire to join a fast-growing team and to operate in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to systematically solve problems and hypothesize possible customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs.
  • Ability to tailor communication to the customer's needs with authority; effectively deliver presentations to all levels of the organization, and strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals.
  • Hunter mentality with a relentless drive to achieve results; independent and self-directed, and takes initiative with minimal direction or supervision; Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Challenger Selling methodology training considered a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel.
