Trust & Will is looking for a tenacious Account Executive to join our growing team. We are a funded, high-growth startup that exists to help families. We are looking for a passionate individual to continue to scale our Advisor channel, focusing on helping financial advisors implement Trust & Will into their practice. 

About you:
You have experience in sales — managing and growing a book of business. You’re passionate about solving pain points for potential clients and truly understand value selling. You love to ask challenging questions to better understand your clients and you’re incredibly skilled as an active listener. You understand how important it is to keep your CRM (HubSpot) organized, as follow-ups and next steps are incredibly important in this role. 

You’re looking for fast-paced growth and want a challenge. You are self-motivated and always bring a “can do” mentality. You love working in a team environment but also understand your responsibilities as an individual contributor. 

You’ll be primarily running demos of our advisor platform and managing that relationship once onboarded. A daily “win” for you is to onboard the right type of advisor to our platform and set up the next steps to implement our platform into their practice, so their clients start using Trust & Will. You also have a “hunter” mentality — always prospecting for the next firm or advisor to introduce our platform to. 

A successful Account Executive is able to think outside the box and close business. They are always looking at ways to strategically position Trust & Will to help reach more financial advisors and you are measured on the number of financial advisors that you onboard to Trust & Will and revenue driven to the firm. 

You will:

  • Inbound / Outbound cold calling and emailing [prospects + existing clients]
  • Run demos of our platform to firms and advisors
  • Actively manage the relationship once the firm/advisor has been onboarded
  • Run implementation meetings with your clients to ensure they’re actively using our platform 
  • Prospect new firms/advisors — working with decision-makers to move conversations forward 
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, Zoom demos, LinkedIn, and any other mediums
  • Effectively manage your pipeline of prospects and leads — organization is key! 
  • Positively represent our company and brand
  • Work in a fast-paced, challenging, high growth startup with room to grow


  • 2-5 years of professional work experience 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain the Trust & Will value proposition
  • An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • Flexibility - things change around here - FAST
  • The intellectual horsepower to become a guide on estate planning in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to keep learning about all its intricacies for years to come
  • A deep understanding of email communication - you keep the inbox at zero.
