Description

As an Account Executive you will drive the sales of Hillrom capital equipment including: frames, stretchers, maternal products, as well as IT type communications and patient flow/tracking products for hospital personnel as well as rental products. Your sales will range from approx. $3M to $9M.

You will be the pivotal sales executive to sales specialists (clinical and technical) and team with local leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for One Hillrom vision, products and programs within the assigned territory and account base.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the generation of new sales across a broad array of product categories to health care providers embracing a solutions sell proposition.
  • Drive the sales and maintenance of accounts for rental products to health care providers
  • Develop a plan to address problem areas and prepare analysis for new sales.
  • Conduct negotiations with the health care providers to finalize sales.
  • Lead the sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals.
  • Oversee the installation of new products post delivery to the customers
  • Maintain on-going relationships with customers to ensure maintenance of current base as well as growth of new sales with the medical provider.



Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least three years' experience of selling in the healthcare field
  • In-depth sales experience with strong understanding of the solutions selling process
  • Ability to travel locally up to 75%
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel in that car 75% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required.



PREFERRED

  • Durable medical equipment solutions selling
  • In-depth sales experience with strong understanding of the solutions selling process
  • Effective influence skills - adept at ability to understand the needs of, and influence, personnel ranging from nurses to C-level decision makers
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively track sales activity, develop sales plans, understand local market and competitive trends, and complete the analysis of sales deals
