Responsibilities:

• Contribute to creation of integrated communications plans that meet client objectives
• Help manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
• Build and manage relationships with clients
• Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content
• Supervise staff junior by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedback
• Aid in the business development process by contributing ideas, conducting research, and assisting in the preparation of proposals
• Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications:

• The Senior Account Executive must be fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written, have at least four years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including journalism, marketing, and consulting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The Senior Account Executive should have a proven ability to manage multiple medium-sized projects simultaneously. S/he should have strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player. S/he should have experience developing and implementing media relations programs. Multicultural health knowledge is desired.
