We are currently looking for a high-energy Inside Sales Account Executives with knowledge of SaaS technology and solid business-to-business sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and closing new customers and generating revenue while achieving individual goals. This position will be selling our Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT).

Responsibilities

  • Finding and closing business in our enterprise business segment within a geographic territory.
  • Demonstrating our product and working with a broader team to meet the needs of each prospect.
  • Reporting on sales activity and forecast in Salesforce.com
  • Managing sales cycles and buying decision teams
  • Contribute ideas that improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Uncover customer needs beyond what may have been initially obvious to the prospect
  • Provide live web demonstrations of our solutions to prospects
  • Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
  • Hit expected call activity metrics
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline
  • Provide an accurate forecast
  • Educate customers on product functionality through conversations, demos, and presentations
  • Follow up on uncovered sales opportunities



Required Knowledge and Skills

  • 2 years' experience within a quota carrying role
  • Consultative technology sales experience, selling a similar solution is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of success, preferably in B2B software sales
  • Good presentation skills and ability to run demos
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven prospecting skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • High energy with a drive for results
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • Bachelors Degree
